Kiyunga Islamic Secondary School has announced a special academic program for Senior Four candidates as the second term officially begins on Monday, May 25.
According to the school administration, all Senior Four students will remain at school during the Term II holidays to allow them enough time for revision and intensive preparation ahead of their final UNEB examinations.
The decision was reached during a meeting held on Sunday, where the school management agreed that candidates should use the holiday period for academic improvement instead of going back home.
Speaking about the arrangement, the school headmaster, Ashraf Kamoga, said the program is aimed at helping learners improve their performance and adequately prepare for their final examinations.
“We decided that Senior Four candidates will remain at school during the Term II holidays so that they can have enough time for revision and intensive preparation ahead of their UNEB examinations. We urge parents to cooperate with the school and provide all the necessary requirements for their children during this study period,” Kamoga said.

He also encouraged students to remain disciplined, focused, and committed to their academic work throughout the program.
The administration noted that the arrangement is intended to strengthen academic performance and ensure candidates are fully prepared before sitting for their national examinations later this year.
