In a noteworthy development following a substantial equity fund raised earlier this year to support its strategic expansion across the continent, Pan African eye wear brand Lapaire has opened its 12th optical shop in Uganda.

The new optical shop located along Kampala-Hoima road  will be headed by a proficient team of experts, including a branch manager, sales representatives, and ophthalmic clinical officer.

According to the company, the Lapaire Nansana branch is committed to delivering personalized services to its customers to answer their needs and desires.

They say these services encompass free eye tests aimed at detecting and evaluating potential vision issues, providing comprehensive eye care
guidance to maintain optimal eye health as well as stylish eyeglasses.

In addition to that, Lapaire ensures accessibility and transparency in pricing for all as well as flexible payment options, operating hours are from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and 9 am to 6 pm on Saturdays.

Keneth Twinamatsiko, Lapaire Uganda’s Operations Manager, emphasized the critical need for accessible eye care services in Uganda. He stated,
“Recognizing that eye care is considered both expensive and challenging to access in Uganda, we are expanding our reach and opening new
optical shops across the city to bring eye care closer to our community. This initiative aims to increase awareness of the value of eye care and provide people with access to high-quality, reasonably priced eye care services. The new Lapaire Nansana Shop will be serving primarily people from Nansana, Ganda, Namungoona, Nabweru, Naluvule, Wakiso and the surroundings,”he said.

According to officials, dedicated to providing a trusted and accessible eye care experience by leveraging a one-stop-shop customer-centric approach to provide stylish quality eyeglasses at fair prices to everyone.

Lapaire  says it plans to launch an extensive community outreach campaign, both offline and online to mark the grand opening of the new optical shop to facilitate fast vision test bookings and raise awareness about the importance of clear sight within the community.
