Movit Products Limited has rewarded 558 retailers and wholesalers under its Southern Division Customer Rewards 2026, a regional performance-based promotion aimed at recognising strong sales achievements and strengthening long-term trade partnerships.

The engagement, held at the Motfin Distributor location in Masaka, brought together winners from Masaka, Mbarara, Kabale, Ibanda and Mubende.

Customers received practical, business-support rewards including 36 deep freezers, 48 bicycles, 144 goats, and 360 jumpers and lanterns — all earned through meeting assigned sales targets.

The initiative represents an investment of Shs 200 million, underscoring Movit’s continued reinvestment in the growth of its trade partners. The selected rewards were chosen for their tangible value in supporting mobility, productivity, and household livelihoods.

Speaking at the event, Bruce Nabimanya, Division Business Manager – Southern Region, emphasised that the programme is strictly performance-based and forms part of Movit’s recurring regional customer loyalty engagements.

“This initiative is about recognising effort and consistency. Every customer rewarded here today qualified by meeting their sales targets. As Movit, we believe in growing together with our trade partners, and that is why we continue to reinvest in initiatives that directly support their businesses and livelihoods,” he said.

Yasin Mbowa, Trade Marketing Manager – Uganda, noted that Masaka was selected as the host location due to the high number of qualifying customers and its central accessibility to surrounding districts.

“We had winners across Masaka, Mbarara, Kabale, Ibanda and Mubende, with Masaka recording the highest number. Hosting the engagement here made participation easier for customers across the Southern Division. This programme is part of our ongoing regional engagements to recognise performance and strengthen relationships with our customers,” he added.

For beneficiaries, the rewards provide meaningful support to everyday business operations. One recipient of a deep freezer highlighted the direct impact on their enterprise:

“This freezer will help me expand my business to offer more products and serve my customers better. I am grateful to Movit for recognising our hard work and supporting our businesses in a practical way,” the beneficiary said.

The Southern Division Customer Rewards 2026 initiative reinforces Movit’s commitment to recognising customer performance while driving sustainable business growth across regional markets.
