The proprietor of Hormisdallen schools, Kizito Mukalazi has died, this website has learnt.
Whereas details about the death are still scanty, it is reported that he died on Friday.
“It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved director, Mr.Kizito Mukalazi . We are united in grief yet grateful for a legacy and care lives on,” the schools said in a statement.
The Hormisdallen schools were started by Mukalazi in 1986, with the founding school located in Kampala, off Mawanda Road in Kamwokya.
Whereas the school begun as a nursery, it is currently a mixed day and boarding Nursery and Primary school.
The school has since expanded to include other branches including Hormisdallen School in Kyebando, off Erisa road, Hormisdallen School-Gayaza off Bugema road and Darline school -Kiteezi.
The schools have learners from all over Uganda and other East African countries like pupils from Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda and South Sudan.
The Hormisdallen schools have built a reputation as one of the best performing in the national exams.
