The family of prominent Kampala lawyer Peter Mulira has released his burial program.
Mulira, who also once served as a minister for Buganda Kingdom in charge of Heritage, Palaces, Tombs, Tourism and Security died on Friday.
According to the burial program, there will be a funeral service at Namirembe Cathedral on Tuesday, May, 5 before a vigil at his home in Mengo-Bakuli.
Mulira’s burial will be held on Wednesday, May 6 at his ancestral home in Masaka.
Tributes
Several tributes have continued to pour in since Mulira’s death.
Buganda Katikkiro, Charles Peter Mayiga described Mulira as an intelligence person.
“The late Mulira was an intelligent person, researching and writing about issues he was passionate for,”Mayiga said.
He was a son to the late Eridadi Mulira and the late Rebecca Mulira and a grand-daughter of the late Hamu Mukasa.
