President Museveni, who is also the commander in chief of the armed forces in Uganda has appointed Arthur Mugyenyi as the new Director General of the Internal Security Organisation(ISO).
According to appointments announced by the deputy presidential press secretary, Faruk Kirunda, Mugyenyi will now occupy the position left vacant after the death of Brig Charles Oluka in February this year.
The changes have also seen Col Emmy Katabazi, who has been serving as the deputy director general of ISO sent to serve as a deputy ambassador in a yet to be named country.
Col Katabazi has been replaced by Tony Kinyera Apecu .
