Nile Special has announced the winners of its FIFA World Cup 2026 all-expenses-paid promotion, following a live draw held at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.
The draw marks a significant milestone in the brand’s nationwide campaign aimed at giving Ugandan football fans an opportunity to experience the FIFA World Cup 2026 in the United States.
Betty Namunvu and Saul Mulindwa emerged as the lucky winners through a digital random selection process conducted and verified live in the presence of consumers and regulatory representatives. The two were contacted immediately and confirmed their participation, expressing excitement ahead of their trip.
The winners will attend matches in Philadelphia and New York, with the prize package covering travel, accommodation, and match access.
Speaking after the draw, Eric Malinga said the campaign reflects the brand’s commitment to transparency and meaningful consumer engagement.
“This live draw demonstrates our commitment to credibility while delivering on our promise to give Ugandans a genuine opportunity to be part of the FIFA World Cup experience,” he said.
Beyond the grand prize, Nile Special said it will continue engaging consumers through a series of nationwide activations, including opportunities to win World Cup merchandise, curated match-viewing experiences, and interactive campaigns such as score predictions.
The brand noted that the initiative is part of broader efforts to connect with football fans by offering shared experiences anchored on the global appeal of the World Cup.
