The People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) party has finally appeared in the Uganda Gazette.
The Electoral Commission, through General Notice No. 1346 of 2025 published in the Gazette dated May 16, confirmed receipt of the PFF’s application for registration in accordance with Section 6(4) of the Political Parties and Organisations Act, Cap. 178.
According to details in the gazette, the party, headquartered at Plot 6, Katonga Road, Kampala, with a mobile phone handset as its official symbol.
The mobile phone has its screen displaying the initials PFF and the dial buttons engraved with the words, ‘Freedom for all,” on a white background farmed in a circular royal blue colour.
The party colours are white and royal blue while its slogan is “Freedom for all ,All for freedom,”
noting that it stands for peace, truth and clean leadership.
The Electoral Commission has now asked members of the public to in 14 days submit objections to the party’s registration.
The development is great step in the registration of the party which was formed out of the breakaway from Forum for democratic Change with a faction choosing to go to Katonga Road to form their own party, away from the one led by Patrick Amuriat headquartered at Najjanankumbi.
There has been back and forth efforts to have the new party registered.
