The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) will today release the 2025 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results.
The results will be officially released at 11:00 AM at State House Nakasero by the Minister of Education and Sports and First Lady, Janet Museveni.
A total of 166,402 candidates sat for the 2025 UACE examinations from 2,844 examination centres across the country.
Of these candidates, 42,328 (25%) were government-sponsored under the Universal Post-O-Level Education and Training (UPOLET) programme, while 124,074 (75%) were privately sponsored.
The statistics also show that 77,772 candidates (44%) were female, while 93,630 candidates (56%) were male.
The release of the results marks the final stage of the 2025 national examinations cycle, following the earlier release of the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) and Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results.
Once released, the results will pave the way for successful candidates to apply for admission to universities and other tertiary institutions across the country.
