Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited (UEDCL) is reaching out to customers with faulty or confiscated meters as part of its WETEREZeeee campaign.
The company’s community outreach team is visiting various areas to raise awareness about the initiative and provide free meter replacements to affected customers.
UEDCL urged residents to take advantage of the program to normalize their electricity connections and ensure uninterrupted service.
“Our outreach team is on the ground to help customers with faulty or confiscated meters. This is an opportunity to regularize your electricity connection and benefit from free replacements,” the company said.
The campaign ends on 31st December aims to improve access to reliable electricity and ensure compliance with meter regulations across the country.
