Vipers SC capped off another successful Uganda Premier League season with a 2-0 victory over Express FC to officially secure the 2025/26 title at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
The win ensured the Venoms retained the championship and completed the season with 67 points, ahead of rivals KCCA FC and SC Villa. It is the club’s eighth league title, further cementing Vipers’ status among Uganda’s most successful football teams.
Celebrations erupted after the final whistle as supporters filled the stadium to witness the official trophy handover ceremony. Club partners, including paint manufacturer Plascon, were part of the festivities as the season came to a close.

Plascon officials praised the club for maintaining high standards both on and off the pitch, saying the partnership has continued to grow through shared values of discipline, consistency, and ambition.
Speaking after the title celebrations, Plascon Marketing Coordinator Benjamin Bicung said the company remains committed to supporting Ugandan sport and using football to connect with communities across the country.
The championship-winning season saw Vipers produce one of the league’s most consistent campaigns, holding off pressure from KCCA FC who finished second on 62 points.
Elsewhere on the final day, Maroons FC edged Lugazi FC 1-0, while Entebbe UPPC FC registered a commanding 4-0 win over BUL FC. Calvary FC also boosted their finish with victory against NEC FC.
