The Board of Directors of United Bank for Africa Uganda Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Kenneth Kisambira as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of UBA Uganda.
In a statement on Thursday, the bank said this appointment comes as it continues to strengthen its
position as a leading financial institution in the country, committed to providing innovative banking solutions and exceptional customer service.
“Kisambira brings a wealth of experience spanning over 18 years in the banking and financial services sector,” the bank said .
Prior to this appointment, he served as the Executive Director and Head of Corporate and Commercial
Banking for UBA Uganda .
“During his career, he has demonstrated exceptional capabilities in corporate finance, digital transformation, strategy implementation, corporate governance and team Leadership
across various notable financial institutions. ”
He holds Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Edinburgh Business School in the United Kingdom, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Uganda Martyrs University and various on job professional trainings.

The bank also appreciated its outgoing CEO, Mrs. Chioma. A. Mang for her exemplary service and leadership.
