A man has been sent on remand in Luzira for picking scrap from State House in Nakasero in Kampala.
Abraham Muhumuza, 28, a scrap dealer and resident of Wakiso district was on Thursday arraigned before Buganda Road magistrates court and charges related to trespass read before him.
It is alleged that on November, 30, 2023, Muhumuza entered into Nakasero State House in Kampala with intent to intimidate and annoy Special Forces Command soldiers.
Muhumuza denied the charges before Grade One magistrate Winnie Nankya Jatiko .
Prosecution led by Allan Mucunguzi told court that inquiries into the matter were complete, noting they are ready to present witnesses.
The trial magistrate sent him on remand at Luzira prison until January, 19.
