National Unity Platform presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine, addressed a large crowd at Kaliiro Grounds in Lyantonde district on Tuesday, urging residents to vote for the party’s “umbrella” symbol to accelerate local development.
Speaking to enthusiastic supporters, Bobi Wine emphasized the need for tangible improvements in community welfare.
He highlighted key priorities including access to clean and safe drinking water, well-stocked hospitals, and quality education for children.
“Vote for the umbrella if you want to see development in your community, vote umbrella if you want to see clean and safe drinking water, vote for umbrella if you want to see well-stocked hospitals, and good education for your children,” he said.
The rally in Lyantonde forms part of Bobi Wine’s nationwide campaign, where he has been engaging voters on issues of local development, health, and education, pledging to prioritize grassroots needs if elected.
Bobi Wine has concluded his rallies in Ssembabule and Lyantonde districts and will today continue to Kazo and Kiruhura.
