HiPipo has announced the global release of its new gospel and inspirational album, “Voices of Light – African Hymns Reimagined Vol. 1,” a project aimed at reshaping how gospel music is consumed in the digital era.
The album is performed by Voices of Light and features Doreen Nanfuka, Enlightened Academy Choir, and HiPipo Voices. It combines African choral traditions with cinematic orchestration and contemporary production to create a spiritually rich yet globally accessible listening experience.
Positioned as a long-term digital worship companion, the album is designed for daily listening across streaming platforms. Most tracks run between one and two minutes, a format intended to align with modern consumption habits and encourage repeated engagement.
According to HiPipo, the project is part of a broader vision to build a global inspirational music ecosystem that integrates faith-based content into everyday digital routines. The album is expected to reach international audiences across Africa, Europe, the Americas, and beyond.
Tracks on the album guide listeners through themes of worship, reflection, gratitude, and hope. Songs such as Matchless Love, All Glory, Evening Hymn, Rise in Praise, and Hope Will Rise form a structured spiritual journey, concluding with All Hail Victory. Bonus tracks, including Speak Life (Original Bonus Version), extend the album’s reach and replay value.
HiPipo notes that while the album is deeply rooted in African gospel traditions, it is intentionally produced for global resonance through English lyrics and universal spiritual themes.
The project also incorporates AI-assisted production tools alongside human creative direction, which HiPipo says enhances sound design and arrangement while preserving artistic authenticity.
Speaking at the launch, HiPipo CEO Innocent Kawooya said the project is designed as more than music.
“We are not just releasing music. We are creating a daily experience for humanity—something people can return to every morning and evening. This project is built for scale, impact, and generations,” he said.
The album is now available globally on major streaming platforms under HiPipo Voices.
