The National Unity Platform (NUP) has officially endorsed Zambaali Blasio Mukasa as its flag bearer for the Nansana Municipality parliamentary seat in the 2026–2031 term.
The announcement came on Monday as the party released its long-awaited list of parliamentary flag bearers across the country ahead of the 2026 general election.
Zambaali, a well-known media personality and community voice, now steps into the political arena under the NUP ticket to contest for one of the most competitive urban constituencies in Wakiso District.
Zambaali’s victory came after an intense vetting exercise in which the party considered several factors, including his vibrancy on the ground, loyalty to the party, and performance during the oral interview.
