The Omukama of Tooro, Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru is in critical condition, the kingdom has said.
Following rumours of the Oyo’s death, the kingdom issued a statement clarifying about his condition.
“This is to inform you that King Oyo is currently in a critical condition,” the kingdom said in a statement.
“At this difficult time, we humbly ask the people of Tooro and our friends to keep His majesty in your prayers.”
King Oyo is currently admitted in hospital in the US.
