Police have launched investigations into the murder of popular TikTok content creator Diana Skyz, real name Namulinde Diana, also widely known as RichWife, following a deadly attack at her apartment in Kyanja, Kampala.
Namulinde, 24, was found dead in her residence in Kwaata Zone, Kyanja Ward, Kawempe Division, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, a day after the suspected attack.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire, the case is being investigated as aggravated robbery and murder.
“Police at Kira Road are investigating a case of aggravated robbery and murder by strangulation that occurred on the night of February 3, 2026, in Kwaata Zone, Kyanja Ward, Kawempe Division, Kampala City,” Owoyesigyire said.
He confirmed that the victim was living alone in her apartment and that her body was discovered after friends became concerned and went to check on her.
“The deceased has been identified as Namulinde Diana, a 24-year-old businesswoman and social media content creator who lived alone in an apartment in Kyanja. Her body was discovered on February 4, 2026, after friends found her apartment open,” Owoyesigyire added.
Police arrested a security guard attached to the premises after he was found in possession of items suspected to have been stolen from the deceased.
“Earlier that day, police arrested a security guard attached to the premises after he was found with items suspected to have been stolen. Some of the recovered items were later identified as belonging to the deceased,” Owoyesigyire said.
A team of homicide detectives and Scene of Crime Officers visited the scene, collected exhibits, and recorded statements from witnesses to aid the investigation.
“So far, three suspects have been identified, and two have been arrested to assist with investigations,” Owoyesigyire noted.
The body was taken to KCCA Mulago City Mortuary for a postmortem examination as investigations continue. Police say more details will be released as inquiries progress.
