Police have announced that former KCCA FC coach, Mike Mutebi who has been missing since Saturday has been found.
Coach Mike Mutebi has been recovered in Kisubi around a banana plantation. He is currently in hospital as medical personnel assess his health condition,” Kampala Metropolitan deputy police spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire said on Monday evening.
According to relatives, Mutebi had last been seen on Saturday evening, at about 6:30pm as participants at a Catholic seminar held at Kisubi Beach prepared to travel back to Kampala.
Mutebi was among the participants but his absence was not noticed until the group arrived in Kawempe.
Police had started the search for the former Cranes coach and the development brings a sigh of relief to many, including his relatives and football fans across Uganda.
