Vivo Energy Uganda has rewarded 30 lucky winners as part of the ongoing ‘Omunene W’ekkubo’ campaign, rewarding them with fuel, lubricants, and gas.

The campaign, which celebrates the hardworking drivers of Uganda, positions Shell FuelSave Diesel as the preferred fuel for motorists across the country.

The winners, who were selected as part of the “Omunene Wa Week” weekly competition, have walked away with a full tank of fuel worth shs500,000, along with lubricants and gas.

The campaign, which runs for three months, is designed to provide value-driven initiatives that enhance the diesel customer experience at Shell service stations.

“Through the “Omunene W’ekkubo” campaign, we aim to show appreciation to Uganda’s dedicated drivers and provide them with benefits that will improve their daily experiences on the road. In addition to rewarding our loyal customers, we are also committed to delivering training on product quality, defensive driving, and improving the well-being of our communities,” said Mark Mutungi, the Brand Manager in charge of fuels at Vivo Energy Uganda.

Joanita Menya Mukasa, the Vivo Energy Uganda Managing Director said the campaign is meant to reward loyal customers.

“We are proud to provide not only fuel but also services that empower drivers to make safer and more informed choices. This is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to the drivers who keep Uganda moving forward every day,” Menya said.

She also commented on the partnership with the Uganda Taxi Operators Federation.

“The partnership is a testament to our long-term vision of fostering a safer, more efficient, and rewarding transport ecosystem. By equipping drivers with knowledge on fuel efficiency, defensive driving, and vehicle maintenance, we empower them to optimise performance while ensuring road safety. The campaign’s customer loyalty rewards further highlight our appreciation for their hard work, making every journey with Shell FuelSave Diesel more valuable. This is just the beginning of a brighter future for Uganda’s transport sector.”

The ongoing campaign offers various initiatives, including educating taxi operators on product quality and defensive driving techniques, organizing health camps and blood donation drives within taxi park communities, conducting promotional activities to reward customer loyalty and improve overall service at Shell service stations and enhancing stage visibility and lighting in parks for greater safety and convenience.

Spanning the Central, Eastern, Northern, and Western regions of Uganda, the ‘Omunene W’ekkubo’ campaign offers drivers the opportunity to learn more about Shell FuelSave Diesel and participate in exciting prize draws.

The campaign includes regional activations in Central, Eastern, Northern, and Western Uganda, where drivers can learn more about Shell FuelSave Diesel and win prizes.
