UNEB is set to formally release the 2025 Uganda Certificate of Education examination results on Friday, February 13, this website has learnt.
The exams will be released at State Lodge in Nakasero by the Minister for Education and Sports, Janet Museveni.
The development follows a meeting in which the minister was briefed about the results by officials from UNEB , today Wednesday.
A total of 432,159 candidates from 4,308 centres sat for the exams, representing a 12.1% increase from the previous year’s 379,748 candidates.
Of these, 52.7% were female, while 47.3% were male. At least 154,637 candidates were under the Universal Secondary Education (USE) program, while the rest were privately sponsored.
The 2025 candidates were the second cycle to sit the UCE exams under the new lower secondary competency based curriculum.
