Stanbic Bank has officially launched the FlexiPay Cashback Explosion, a dynamic 90-day campaign aimed at promoting the use of its digital mobile wallet, FlexiPay, while rewarding users for going cashless.

The campaign was flagged off over the weekend at Senana Supermarket in downtown Kampala, where shoppers were treated to interactive FlexiPay demos and exciting giveaways.

FlexiPay is Stanbic Bank’s user-friendly mobile platform that enables digital transactions for all Ugandans—regardless of whether they have a Stanbic account.

“It’s all about giving back to our customers and showing the real benefits of going digital,” said Josephine Nakato, Manager of Customer Experience at FlexiPay. “We’re taking banking closer to people, making it more accessible, fun, and rewarding.”

Throughout the 90-day campaign, FlexiPay users will earn 10% instant cashback on transactions of shs 50,000 or more when shopping or paying bills. This includes groceries, fuel, utilities, school fees, restaurant bills, and more.

The campaign also features thrilling rewards like the ‘One Minute Trolley Dash’, where winners race against the clock to grab as many items as possible in one minute. At the launch event, lucky winners Douglas Wakabi and Leticia Kyomuhendo took home baskets full of groceries.

“I never thought I’d win,” Kyomuhendo said. “Now I have more reasons to use FlexiPay every day.”

FlexiPay activation points have been set up across Uganda in high-traffic spots such as Petro service stations, supermarkets, restaurants, and boutiques. Here, customers can experience the app firsthand, enjoy on-the-spot cashback, and get assistance on how to make the most of FlexiPay—from settling bills to everyday purchases.

Jackie Abwol, Brand and Marketing Manager for FlexiPay, emphasized that the campaign is part of Stanbic’s broader mission to drive financial innovation and digital inclusion across the country.

“Through this campaign, we’re helping more Ugandans transition to a digital lifestyle—seamlessly and with benefits,” Abwol noted. “There will be weekly surprises, giveaways, and activations to keep the momentum going.”

She also encouraged customers to stay engaged via Stanbic Bank’s social media platforms for the latest updates on activation venues, campaign milestones, and new reward announcements.

With the FlexiPay Cashback Explosion, Stanbic Bank is not only rewarding customers—it’s building a stronger case for a truly cashless Uganda.
