Ronald Kikabi has been appointed to officiate the 2026 Masaza Cup final between Kyaggwe and Gomba, scheduled for Saturday, October 31, at Muteesa II Memorial Stadium in Wankulukuku.
Kikabi will take charge of the highly anticipated championship decider as the two sides battle for the coveted Masaza Cup trophy.
He will be assisted by Ivan Ssenfuka and Joseph Bbosa, who have been appointed Assistant Referees One and Two, respectively, while Ibrahim Miiro will serve as the fourth official.
Brian Miiro Nsubuga has been named Reserve Assistant Referee, while Abbey Ssentongo (GMC) and Daniel Yenka (AGC) will serve as match commissioners.
Kikabi’s appointment places the experienced match official at the centre of one of the biggest fixtures on Uganda’s football calendar, as Kyaggwe and Gomba prepare to bring their campaigns to a close.
Kyaggwe will be seeking to secure the championship trophy, while five-time champions Gomba will be targeting another title to strengthen their place in Masaza Cup history.
Earlier on Saturday, Butambala and Bugerere will face off in the classification match to determine their final positions in the tournament.

Edward Ssekajugo will serve as the Reserve Referee, while Mark Ssonko has been appointed Reserve Assessor.
Mansoor Kabugo and Gerald Katamba will serve as GMC and AGC, respectively, for the classification match.
The appointments set the stage for a decisive day of football at Wankulukuku as the 2026 Masaza Cup tournament draws to a close.
