Police in Nsangi, Wakiso district in the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area have recovered seven stolen motor vehicles following a series of coordinated operations targeting vehicle theft in the area.
“The Police at Nsangi Policing Division carried out a series of operations that led to the recovery of seven stolen motor vehicles,” said Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango.
The recovered vehicles include UAP 036J – Isuzu (maroon), UBK 847F – Canter (white), UAY 997M – Noah (blue), UAK 210B – Corolla (grey), UBD 931L – Super Custom (grey), UAJ 673C – G Touring, and UBG 113J – Noah (silver).
In connection with the thefts, four suspects have been arrested and are now facing charges of motor vehicle theft in court, Onyango added.
He also urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to help reduce incidents of vehicle theft in the area.
