Node Group has entered into a strategic public relations partnership with the U.S. Exchange Alumni Network Uganda (USEA) aimed at promoting leadership, civic engagement, entrepreneurship, and educational excellence across the country.

USEA is a national network comprising more than 6,000 alumni of U.S. government-funded exchange programs who are applying skills and experiences gained abroad to drive innovation, leadership, and community transformation in Uganda.

The partnership is anchored in a shared commitment to using effective communication as a catalyst for social change. Through the collaboration, the two organisations seek to enhance visibility, unlock new opportunities, and contribute meaningfully to national dialogue on development, inclusion, and civic participation.

Under the agreement, Node Group will provide professional public relations and communications support to USEA, including strategic media planning, press engagement, event publicity, project implementation support, and overall communications management.

Speaking at the signing, Node Group Chief Executive Officer Ian Rumanyika said the partnership aligns with the company’s commitment to purpose-driven initiatives that deliver tangible social impact.

“This collaboration amplifies USEA’s legacy while reinforcing Node Group’s dedication to visionary initiatives that shape Uganda’s future,” Rumanyika said.

USEA President Owomugisha Blessing Immaculate said the partnership comes at a critical time as the network expands its community outreach through the establishment of Community Resource Centers across Uganda’s regions.

“Our mission is to champion sustainable community transformation led by Ugandans who have benefited from U.S. exchange and education programs,” she said, adding that the partnership will strengthen stakeholder engagement and attract strategic partners.

The collaboration was welcomed by the U.S. Embassy in Uganda, with Alumni Coordinator Kato Chrysestom noting that strategic partnerships play a key role in ensuring the visibility, sustainability, and scalability of alumni-driven development initiatives.

USEA brings together professionals working across key sectors, including governance, entrepreneurship, education, health, media, and civil society. The partnership marks a significant step in strengthening alumni-led development and strategic storytelling in support of national progress.
