Uganda Waragi has strengthened its partnership with Western Uganda’s music star Ray G ahead of his highly anticipated concert scheduled for August 7 at Kololo Airstrip.
The partnership was cemented when Uganda Waragi hosted Ray G, whose real name is Reagan Muhairwe, at Uganda Breweries in Kampala as part of preparations for what is expected to be one of the artiste’s biggest career moments.
The visit attracted excitement among Uganda Breweries staff, who joined the “King of the West” for a musical celebration, sing-along sessions and photo opportunities.
The collaboration forms part of Uganda Waragi’s “SO UG” campaign, which celebrates Ugandan culture, local stories and the resilience of the country’s creative talent.
Ray G’s journey from Mbarara’s music scene to becoming one of Western Uganda’s most celebrated artistes has made him a representation of authenticity, cultural pride and Ugandan identity.
Speaking about the partnership, Uganda Waragi Brand Manager for Core Mainstream Spirits, Roy Tumwizere, said Ray G embodies the values celebrated under the brand’s campaign.
“Ray G started in Mbarara, conquered Cricket Oval, and now he’s taking off to the next level at Kololo Airstrip,” Tumwizere said.
“He is the absolute definition of SO UG with authentic lyrics, pride, and unbeatable vibes in his music. As Uganda Waragi, pouring our iconic spirit into his biggest night was a no-brainer. Expect first-class performances on stage and in your glasses for what will truly be an epic night,” he added.
Ray G welcomed the partnership, saying the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to celebrating Ugandan music and culture.

The concert experience will feature Uganda Waragi signature cocktail bars, entertainment zones and premium hospitality offerings as fans gather to celebrate the artiste’s musical journey.
