The countdown is on for one of the most anticipated nights in Uganda’s entertainment calendar as Mun G prepares to headline The Champions Ball Concert at Kampala Serena Hotel on Saturday, August 30, 2025.

Powered by Castle Lite as the main sponsor, the event promises an unforgettable celebration of music, culture, and lifestyle. Fans will enjoy a star-studded lineup featuring Jose Chameleone, Nutty Neithan, Naava Grey, and Big Trill, alongside Mun G’s decade of chart-topping hits including Bintwala, Fati, Champion, and Ssejusa.

Speaking at the pre-concert press briefing, Belinda Kasemiire, Brand Manager Castle Lite, said the sponsorship was a natural fit.
“Castle Lite has always believed in breaking the mold and creating unforgettable moments for our consumers. Supporting The Champions Ball Concert was a natural decision for us, because Mun G represents the very essence of consistency, creativity, and energy.”

Mun G promised fans a nostalgia-filled, high-energy performance.
“The Champions Ball is more than just a concert — it’s a celebration of the journey I’ve taken with my fans over the past decade. Sharing the stage with legends like Chameleone and my brother Big Trill is an honor. August 30 will be a night Kampala will never forget.”

Wangechi Gitahi, Head of Marketing at Nile Breweries, emphasized the company’s commitment to creating memorable consumer experiences.

She highlighted Castle Lite’s Cheers to Bars campaign, which will feature activations and interactive moments at the concert to celebrate Uganda’s vibrant bar culture and its role in strengthening communities and supporting the night-time economy.

Cheers to Bars

Gitahi said as part of the celebration, Castle Lite will activate its Cheers to Bars campaign at the event — creating interactive photo moments for fans, influencers, and Nile Breweries staff.

“It’s all about recognising the role of bars and nightlife in building community, while giving consumers a chance to share their experiences in real time, she added. Bars are more than just places to grab a drink — they are vibrant social spaces where people connect, share stories, and make lasting memories. Whether it’s it’s catching up with friends, meeting new people, or simply unwinding after a long day, bars play a vital role in bringing people together,”Gitachi said.

“At Nile Breweries, we believe in celebrating life’s moments — big and small — and bars are the perfect spaces where these moments come to life. By celebrating bars, we not only recognise their role in strengthening communities and fostering human connection but also support the night-time economy and the many livelihoods that depend on it.”
