Uganda’s leading heavy-truck distributor, Double Q, has earned global recognition after receiving the Notable Contribution Award at the 2025 Sinotruk Global Partners Conference held in Qingdao, China.
The award highlights the company’s outstanding market performance and growing contribution to the transport and logistics sector in Uganda.
The prestigious gathering attracted 620 strategic partners from 97 countries and regions, underscoring SINOTRUK’s expanding global footprint and its strategic partnerships in Africa and beyond.
Double Q was represented at the conference by Managing Director Bruce Lin Yu and Sales Director Jack Wang.

The conference came at a milestone moment for Sinotruk, which reported strong performance between January and September 2025, including: 335,000 total vehicle sales up 22.8% year-on-year, 111,000 heavy truck exports up 24.5% and significant growth across new-energy trucks, light trucks, mining equipment, and the aftermarket parts business
These results strengthen Sinotruk’s position as a global leader in heavy-duty commercial vehicles and a key player in powering infrastructure and industrial growth in emerging markets.
Chairman Liu Zhengtao reaffirmed Snotruk’s commitment to five transformation strategies: Sustainability, Digital Intelligence, Service Excellence, Global Expansion, and Business Diversification.
He pledged to work closely with global partners to deliver superior products, attentive service, and cutting-edge technologies, forging new pathways for high-end growth.
