Ecobank Uganda has partnered with Serena Hotels to offer its debit and credit cardholders exclusive travel, hospitality, dining and wellness benefits across participating Serena properties in Africa and Asia.
The partnership, officially launched in Kampala on Friday, brings together the two brands in an initiative aimed at enhancing customer experiences while encouraging the use of secure digital payment solutions.
Under the agreement, Ecobank cardholders will receive a 10% discount on accommodation, a 15% discount on Maisha Spa treatments and a 7.5% discount on food and beverages at participating Serena properties.
Customers will also benefit from a 5% discount at Serena Gift Shops, Hair Gallery services, airport transfers and full-day car hire. Other privileges include priority waitlisting for hotel reservations, access to selected Serena member events, bonus and double loyalty-point promotions and a complimentary tropical fruit basket during eligible stays.
Cardholders will also have the opportunity to donate loyalty points towards Serena community initiatives.
The benefits will be available at participating Serena properties in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Mozambique, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Tajikistan.
The participating properties include Kampala Serena Hotel, Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa, Nairobi Serena Hotel, Serena Beach Resort & Spa, Kigali Serena Hotel, Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel, Zanzibar Serena Hotel, Polana Serena Hotel and Goma Serena Hotel, as well as Serena’s safari lodges and camps across East Africa.

The bank is also encouraging customers to use its debit and credit cards when making payments at participating Serena Hotels to access the available privileges.
Customers can additionally join the Serena Loyalty Program to access further savings, member privileges and personalised experiences during their stays.
