Former Uganda Cranes midfielder Mike Sserumaga is currently admitted at Old Mulago National Referral Hospital after collapsing at his home.
According to sources, the Initial medical scans revealed skull damage and complications with blood flow.
Doctors said that the 34-year-old later suffered a stroke, leaving his condition critical.
Sserumaga, who played for the national team and several top-tier clubs including KCC FC, Express, and Rayon Sport in Rwanda, was rushed to hospital on Tuesday after the sudden collapse.
Medical teams at Mulago are closely monitoring his situation, while friends and former teammates have rallied around his family.
