The Chief of Defence Forces in the UPDF, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has appointed Brigadier Jackson Pande Kajuba as the new commander of the Armoured Division in Masaka.
Brig Kajuba, who has been the deputy commander replaces Major General Deus Sande who passed away on Wednesday.
The same message by the Chief of Defence Forces has seen Colonel Wilson Bagonza Rwakanara from the Special Forces Command (SFC) promoted to the rank of Brigadier General and consequently appointed the Deputy Commander of the UPDF Armoured Division.
The appointments, according to the acting UPDF spokesperson, Col Chris Magezi take immediate effect.
