Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has urged the people of Buganda to remain courageous, united and hopeful despite the challenges currently facing the country.
Addressing the crowd during his end-of-year address at the the famous annual Enkuuka festival, the Kabaka emphasized that unity remains the strongest weapon against hardship and uncertainty.
“We once again encourage you to remain courageous in all circumstances and remember that unity is our victory. Do not despair; the current crisis will change if we all stay on track,” Kabaka Mutebi said.
He cautioned against losing hope, noting that despair only weakens society, while unity and discipline create a foundation for progress.
He reminded his people that Buganda’s strength has always been rooted in togetherness, resilience and shared responsibility.
Kabaka also commended CBS FM for organizing the Enkuuka festival, describing it as an important platform that brings people together, promotes cultural identity and strengthens social cohesion.
His message was warmly received by the crowd, many of whom applauded the call for unity and perseverance as the year draws to a close.
