Masaka police have apprehended a man wanted for allegedly burning his 16-year-old daughter earlier this year.
According to Twaha Kasirye, the Regional Police Spokesperson for Greater Masaka, the suspect, identified as Senabulya Daniel, 36, had been evading arrest since April 2025 when the incident occurred.
“Senabulya Daniel is currently in police custody. He burnt his 16-year-old daughter, Namwanje Faith, in April, and has been on the run since then,” Kasirye confirmed.
The suspect was finally arrested on August 11, 2025, in the Kyanamukaaka area of Masaka District.
Police are holding Senabulya Daniel as investigations continue into the case.
