TikToker Pressure 24/7, real name, Ibrahim Musana has been remanded to Luzira over charges related to computer misuse.
The TikToker who was arrested recently was on Wednesday afternoon presented before City Hall Magistrates Court and two charges read against him.
He was accused of spreading hate speech against the Chief of Defence Forces, Gen Muhoozi Kaineugaba and unlawfully obtaining of personal data contrary to section 35 (1) and (2) of the Data Protection and Privacy Act, Cap 97 and Hate speech contrary to section 26(1) (a) and (2) of the Computer Misuse Act, Cap 96.
According to prosecution, on March, 5 at Asante Apartments Kyanja, Nakawa Division in  Kampala District, Musana unlawfully obtained or processed data including  a photograph and name of General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, without prior consent of the said General Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
He is also accused of  using his TikTok account ,@pressure247 to share  information about or relating to General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Chief of Defence Forces of Uganda People’s Defence Forces, that he is not fit to hold the office of Chief of Defence Forces, which information, according to prosecution,  is likely to ridicule or degrade or demean General Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
The TikToker denied the charges.
The trial grade one magistrate Edgar Karakire remanded the TikToker to Luzira prison up to March, 26.
This is the second time the same TikToker is being arraigned in court over charges related to computer misuse.
He was in 2024 remanded to prison for sharing information which is likely to degrade or demean and promote hostility against four leaders including Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, President Yoweri Museveni, speaker of parliament Annet Anita Among and state minister for Information Communication Technology (ICT) Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo.
He was however released on bail.
