Uganda Christian University (UCU) dean of students, Pamela Tumwebaze has died after being attacked from her home by unknown assailants on Wednesday night.
The university confirmed her death in an official statement.
“It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Ms. Pamela Tumwebaze, the Director of Student Affairs, and member of the Uganda Christian University Senior Management. She went to be with the LORD in the early hours of Wednesday, February 11, 2026,” the statement read.
Preliminary reports indicate that Tumwebaze was attacked by intruders who broke into her home.
She was last seen earlier on Tuesday addressing students during a fellowship at Nkoyoyo Hall on the UCU campus.
Police have not yet issued a statement on the incident.
