Uganda Baati has marked a major leadership milestone as its Chief Executive Officer, George Arodi, completes nine years at the helm of the company—a tenure defined by growth, innovation, and a strong commitment to national development.
Since assuming office, Arodi has overseen a period of strategic transformation that has strengthened Uganda Baati’s position as a leading manufacturer of quality roofing solutions in the country. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its national footprint to more than 20 showrooms, improved operational efficiency, and diversified its product portfolio to respond to evolving customer needs.
Arodi’s stewardship has also been central to advancing local manufacturing, contributing to job creation and skills development across the organisation. Through sustained investment in technology and human capital, Uganda Baati has enhanced production standards while reinforcing a workplace culture anchored in safety, professionalism, and accountability.
Beyond commercial performance, Arodi has championed community engagement and corporate social responsibility, supporting housing development initiatives, education programmes, and community infrastructure projects across Uganda. These efforts align with the company’s broader mission to contribute to the development of stronger and more resilient communities.
Speaking on the milestone, Arodi expressed appreciation to employees, partners, and customers for their continued support, noting that the company’s progress has been driven by teamwork, shared values, and a collective commitment to excellence.
“Leadership is about empowering people and creating opportunities for growth,” Arodi said. “I am proud of what we have accomplished together and remain excited about the future we are building for Uganda’s construction and manufacturing sector.”
As Uganda Baati looks ahead, the company has reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, sustainable growth, and positive community impact, with Arodi’s leadership continuing to guide its vision of shaping a stronger future for Uganda.
