Vivo Energy Uganda has launched a new national campaign targeting motorcycle riders, aimed at promoting resilience, road safety, and the use of quality engine oil and fuel products.

Dubbed “Ebyakabi Nze Abirina #SityaMbeera”, the campaign celebrates the daily grit and determination of Uganda’s boda boda riders while spotlighting two key Shell products—Shell Advance motorcycle engine oil and Shell FuelSave fuel—designed to enhance performance and efficiency.

Through this campaign, Vivo Energy Uganda aims to reward more than 10,000 riders with various prizes to support their daily operations. Riders can participate by purchasing a pack of Shell Advance engine oil, then sending the unique code found under the seal along with their motorcycle registration number to 6688.

Speaking at the launch event, Rebecca Nassiwa, Brand Manager for Lubricants at Vivo Energy Uganda, said the campaign is a tribute to the hardworking motorcyclists who keep Uganda moving.

“We understand the strength and resilience of every rider who plays a critical role in driving Uganda’s economy and connecting communities,” Nassiwa said. “Through Ebyakabi Nze Abirina #SityaMbeera, we want to empower riders with the best products and services from Shell, supported by expert mechanics and rider-friendly Shell stations nationwide.”

Shell Advance, a globally recognized motorcycle lubricant, is engineered with advanced active cleansing technology that protects engines from wear, even under harsh riding conditions such as high temperatures, dusty roads, heavy traffic, and hilly terrain. The product has been endorsed by Ducati, the Italian sport bike manufacturer, as its technical partner in MotoGP racing.

Shell FuelSave complements this offering with Dynaflex technology, designed to optimize fuel efficiency and deliver more mileage per litre, helping riders reduce operational costs without compromising engine performance.

Francis Kayoki, Lubricants Sales Manager at Vivo Energy Uganda, reinforced the company’s commitment to offering high-quality solutions specifically tailored for motorcycle users.

“We are dedicated to supporting riders with products that offer superior engine protection and fuel efficiency, allowing them to take on every journey with confidence,” Kayoki said.

In addition to premium products, Vivo Energy Uganda offers rapid oil change services at selected Shell service stations, a growing network of dedicated fueling points for riders, and a loyalty program designed to reward frequent customers.

Geoffrey Elyanu, Supply and Distribution Manager at Vivo Energy Uganda, represented the company’s Managing Director at the launch. He highlighted the significance of the campaign, describing it as a celebration of the unwavering spirit of Ugandan riders.

“Ebyakabi Nze Abirina #SityaMbeera is more than a campaign—it’s a promise that with Shell’s trusted products, riders can stay strong, secure, and prepared for every road challenge,” Elyanu said.

Vivo Energy Uganda reiterated its commitment to supporting local businesses and delivering innovative, high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of Ugandan communities.
