Ugandan musician Bruno K, born Bruno Kiggundu, has joined the cast of Pearl Magic Prime’s drama series Loving Beyond, with his debut set for Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
Bruno K, widely known for his music career and strong stage presence, makes a transition into television drama in what marks one of his most notable acting roles to date.
In the series, he takes on the role of Clive, a charismatic but disruptive figure whose arrival is expected to heighten tensions within the influential Lule family. Producers say the character will introduce new conflicts, challenge existing loyalties and deepen the intrigue surrounding the family’s power struggles.
Rinaldi Jamugisa, PR and Communications Manager at MultiChoice Uganda, said the casting reflects the company’s commitment to promoting local creative talent across different disciplines.
“Bruno K’s addition to the cast demonstrates our commitment to celebrating and growing local talent. His role introduces a fresh dynamic to the story and supports our mission to tell authentic Ugandan stories,” Jamugisa said.
Bruno K described the role as both challenging and rewarding.
“Clive is complex, unpredictable and deeply human. I’m excited for viewers to see this new side of me and how his story unfolds within the Lule family,” he said.
Brian Mulondo, Local Content Marketing Manager at MultiChoice Uganda, said the move is part of ongoing efforts to identify and develop talent that can strengthen Uganda’s film and television industry.
Loving Beyond airs on Pearl Magic Prime (DStv Channel 148 and GOtv Channel 303). Set against the backdrop of Uganda’s sugar industry, the series explores themes of power, love, rivalry and generational conflict between the Lutaaya and Lule families. Since its premiere in December 2025, the show has gained traction among local audiences.
The series airs Monday to Friday at 8:30pm.
