I&M Bank Uganda has appointed Amanda Musoke Nkole as its new Communications and Outreach Programs Officer, as the bank moves to strengthen its stakeholder engagement, brand visibility and customer-focused growth strategy.

In her new role, Amanda will oversee the bank’s internal and external communications, coordinate stakeholder engagement initiatives and lead community outreach programmes aimed at strengthening relationships with customers, partners and the wider community.

She will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication initiatives that promote consistent messaging, enhance the bank’s reputation and support its broader business objectives.

Amanda joins I&M Bank with more than eight years of experience in marketing and communications across different sectors, with expertise in brand management, strategic communications and stakeholder relations.

Her appointment comes at a time when the bank is implementing its growth strategy, including the rollout of its “On Your Side” thematic campaign, which reflects the bank’s commitment to putting customers at the centre of its services.

The bank is also preparing for the second season of its “Tukikube ne I&M Bank” campaign, an initiative designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through asset financing, financial literacy and business empowerment programmes.

Speaking about her appointment, Amanda said she was excited to join the bank at a time of transformation and growth.

“I am excited to join I&M Bank (Uganda) Limited at such an important moment for the business. I look forward to adding a brick towards building the brand in ways I hope will take it to new heights. I look forward to working with the amazing team to create fresh, compelling communications that drive growth,” she said.

I&M Bank Head of Marketing, Annette Nakiyaga, said Amanda’s experience would strengthen the bank’s communications function as it continues expanding its presence in the market.

“Amanda joining the team is an important next step for the Marketing Department. She brings a strong track record spanning almost a decade, and her experience will be a great asset as we build on our momentum and continue to grow in the market,” Nakiyaga said.

Outside her professional responsibilities, Amanda is passionate about swimming, spending time with her family, supporting personal growth initiatives and contributing to community development.
