An unidentified man has attacked a school in Kampala and killed four pupils.
The incident saw the man attack Ggaba Early Childhood Day Care Centre in Makindye division, Kampala district, stabbing the four pupils in a shocking incident.
According to witnesses, the suspect entered the school and attacked the children for reasons that are still under investigation.
Parents and residents of Ggaba reportedly attempted to carry out mob justice, but police quickly intervened and arrested the suspect.
Kampala Metropolitan Police confirmed the incident, noting that the suspect has since been arrested.
“The suspect has been apprehended and the motive of the killing is still under investigation,” Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Racheal Kawala said in a brief statement.
