Vipers SC president Lawrence Mulindwa has promised to reward his players with a hefty cash bonus of shs300 million if they win the 2024/2025 StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
Mulindwa, who gave the team a shs50 bonus for topping the league in the first round of this season has upped the game, increasing the bonus at the end of the season to shs300 million.
The move is expected to motivate players to lift the eighth league title for the Kitende-based club.
The league winner’s official prize from FUFA currently stands at shs 60 million.
Vipers are currently top of the Uganda Premier League table on 50 points, four above second placed Kitara FC , all on 21 games so far played.
13-time champions, KCCA FC are third on 45 points while record champions, SC Villa are fourth on 38 points.
