President Museveni hs appointed the NRM chairman for Kayunga, Moses Kalangwa as his presidential advisor on special duties.
The appointment was communicated in a letter signed by Stephen Opio Okiror on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Service. The appointment takes immediate effect.
“I’m pleased to inform you that H.E the President, in the powers vested in him under Article 172 (1)(a) of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, 1995 (as amended), and on the advice of the Public Service Commission, has directed that you be offered an appointment as Senior Presidential Advisor,” the letter said.
Kalangwa was recently trounced during the NRM Central Executive Committee elections last year as he lost to minister Haruna Kyeyune Kasolo who became the NRM vice chairperson for central region.
