Pride Microfinance has reaffirmed commitment to serve Ugandans after transforming into a tier two bank.
Speaking during a dinner on Friday at Kampala Serena Hotel, Pride Bank Managing Director, Veronica Namaganda Pride’s story began decades ago with a simple yet profound vision – to transform lives responsibly.
“Pride founders knew the way and they recognized that financial inclusion was not just about providing loans but about empowering communities to build sustainable futures.Through seasons of challenge and growth, Pride remains steadfast to her purpose,” she said.
According to Namaganda, in the past 30 years, Pride has been able to disburse over five million loans worth shs3.6 trillion.
“Behind these numbers are countless stories of farmers who expanded their harvests, entrepreneurs who built thriving businesses, students who completed their education and families who improved their living conditions.”
