SGA Security has entered into a strategic partnership with Isuzu East Africa in a deal worth approximately USD 3 million (about Shs10.7 billion) aimed at enhancing secure logistics operations across the East African region.

The collaboration, which commenced on July 17, 2025, will see Isuzu East Africa supply Isuzu NMR 85H cab and chassis units, which will be customized into state-of-the-art Cash-in-Transit (CIT) and courier vehicles. These vehicles will support SGA Security’s growing need for safe and efficient transportation of valuables, starting in Uganda and Tanzania.

According to SGA, the investment will be executed in phases, with the goal of improving operational efficiency, reducing fleet maintenance costs, and standardizing logistics services across the region using high-performance vehicles.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Jules Delahaije, CEO and Chairman of SGA Security Group, described the agreement as a strategic move to strengthen service delivery and regional capacity.

“This partnership with Isuzu East Africa marks a significant milestone in our regional growth strategy. With Isuzu’s proven track record in reliability and performance, we are confident this collaboration will enhance our ability to serve clients effectively and securely across East Africa,” Delahaije said.

The integration of Isuzu NMR 85H trucks into SGA’s fleet is expected to elevate customer satisfaction by ensuring timely, secure, and reliable delivery services. Designed for demanding terrain and high-risk operations, the vehicles are tailored to the rigorous requirements of CIT deployments.

Rita Kavashe, Chairperson of the Board and Managing Director of Isuzu East Africa, applauded the partnership, citing alignment in values between the two brands.

“We are proud to partner with SGA Security, a brand that, like Isuzu, is synonymous with trust and reliability. The NMR 85H trucks are engineered for durability and high performance, making them ideal for demanding Cash-in-Transit use. Our extensive dealer network and after-sales support will ensure SGA benefits from maximum uptime and efficiency,” Kavashe stated.

Officials from both companies underscored that the partnership reflects their joint commitment to innovation, service excellence, and long-term growth in the East African market.
