The search for Uganda’s next beauty queen came to a glittering close on Saturday, September 20, with 22-year-old aviation graduate Elle Trivia Muhoza crowned Miss Uganda 2025/26 at a glamorous ceremony hosted at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.
The night was a celebration of Uganda’s cultural richness, punctuated by powerful performances from Aziz Azion and Tracy Melon, and marked by what many described as one of the most competitive editions of the pageant in recent years.
Finalists wowed the panel of judges with their poise, intelligence, and talent, reflecting the modern blend of beauty and purpose that the Miss Uganda crown represents.
Faith Kirabo secured the first runner-up position, Agatha Drakes Keine claimed the second runner-up title and Special category awards went to Rebecca Akampulira (Miss Talent), Bathsheba Gift Namugga (Miss Personality), Aminah Nalubega (Miss Popularity), and Patricia Nairuba (Top Model).

Upon being crowned, Muhoza pledged to dedicate her reign to empowering single mothers, with a special focus on those affected by domestic violence.
Her commitment to social transformation will run parallel with her professional aspirations in aviation, showcasing a queen determined to soar in more ways than one.
Muhoza succeeds Natasha Nyonyozi, who earned continental recognition after being named Beauty With a Purpose Overall Winner for Africa at the Miss World 2025 contest for her groundbreaking autism awareness campaign.
As the new Miss Uganda, Muhoza now carries the responsibility of representing the country on the global stage, with hopes high that she will build on the momentum set by her predecessor.
