Vibez Nzuri will launch its 2026 calendar with a high-profile edition headlined by celebrated Ugandan rapper Mun G and fast-rising RnB artist Kohen Jaycee.
The event, slated for May 2 at Gazebo in Najjera, opposite Total Petrol Station, is expected to deliver a high-energy fusion of music, culture, and social experience. The two headliners will be joined by CXJ Powell and Kyle Simba, rounding out a diverse performance lineup.
Mun G, widely regarded for his sharp lyricism and influence on Uganda’s rap scene, is expected to bring his signature stage presence and crowd appeal to the event. Kohen Jaycee, meanwhile, continues to gain traction within the urban music space, with a growing catalogue and a sound that resonates with younger audiences.
Organisers say the event builds on Vibez Nzuri’s positioning as a key player in Kampala’s lifestyle and entertainment scene, known for blending established acts with emerging talent.
In addition to live performances, attendees can expect sets from DJs including DJ Bugy, Gnarly, Dread Lazor, Woolfie, and Hey Dez. Hosting duties will be handled by MCs Guh, Dreadlock Dziz, St Trevor, and Jollet, aimed at maintaining a lively and engaging atmosphere throughout.
Vibez Nzuri Team Lead Brian Owomugisha said the new edition reflects a renewed focus on delivering immersive and socially engaging experiences.
“We are back to curate enjoyable spaces full of vibes and enjoyment. This edition is about bringing people together through great music, energy, and shared experiences,” he said.
The event is expected to draw a wide cross-section of Kampala’s urban audience.
