BrighterMonday Uganda has expanded its youth-focused employment drive to Arua with the launch of the ‘HireNow Tour,’ a new initiative aimed at reducing the youth unemployment gap across Northern Uganda.
Held on Thursday at the Arua District Council Hall, the event attracted more than 180 participants, including local business leaders, employers, and young people seeking access to job opportunities and practical skills training.
The tour is being implemented in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, Advance Afrika, and the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB). Working together, the partners aim to equip young Ugandans with market-ready skills while linking them directly to potential employers.
Through the HireNow Tour, BrighterMonday Uganda seeks to widen access to employability programs, enhance job readiness among youth, and strengthen job placement efforts at the community level.
