Ugandan music star Hajjara Namukwaya Diana, popularly known as Spice Diana, has officially announced that she has parted ways with her longtime manager, Roger Lubega, marking a new chapter in her career.
In a statement released on her verified platforms, the singer confirmed that the change in management takes immediate effect.
“I confirm a change in my management structure, effective immediately,” Spice Diana said.
She expressed gratitude to her former management team, Source Management, and Roger Lubega for the years they worked together.
“For several years, I worked with Source Management and Mr Roger Lubega. I appreciate the contribution and support I received during that journey,” she noted.
Spice Diana revealed that all business matters between the two parties have been amicably resolved.
“All business matters between both parties have been concluded, including a mutual sharing of jointly acquired property and a royalty arrangement on past music works. There are no remaining claims, and both sides have moved forward professionally,” she said.
The singer also cautioned against rumours and misinformation, stressing that she will only communicate through her official and verified platforms.
“I will not engage in rumours, speculation or defamatory commentary. Any information not issued through my verified platforms should be considered unofficial,” she said.
Spice Diana further announced that she is now operating under new management, adding that all professional engagements will henceforth be handled through her official representatives.
“As part of my new career direction, I am now operating under new management. All bookings, brand engagements and professional communication will be handled exclusively through my verified platforms,” she added.
She thanked her fans, the media, sponsors and the wider music industry for their continued support, promising more music and bigger projects ahead.
“Thank you to my fans, media, sponsors and the music industry for the continued support. I look forward to new music, performances and bigger projects ahead,” she said.
According to sources close to the singer, the two had not been on good terms for the past three years. Reports of their separation first emerged early last year but were later dismissed by both parties. It is alleged that the fallout stemmed from concerns over transparency in the management of concert earnings.
