Over the weekend, numerous renown chefs sampled over 1,000 guests with food and recipes prepared using Fresh Dairy’s Ghee, Butter and long-life milk at the Uganda Hotel Owners Association (UHOA) Annual Hospitality Expo themed: ‘Elevating Uganda’s hospitality and tourism through sustainability and innovation’.
The hospitality industry in Uganda is a vital part of the tourism sector, contributing significantly to foreign exchange earnings and job creation.
According to Mrs Muhwezi Susan, the Chairlady of the UHOA, “the hospitality sector accounts for 90% of all employment in Uganda, making it a sector to reckon with.”

To celebrate the continuous growth of the hospitality industry, chefs stemming from a cross section of hotels and restaurants took part in the hospitality expo between August, 1 and 3, 2025 by preparing culinary savor meals using various Fresh Dairy’s butter, ghee and long-life milk.
“At Fresh Dairy, we produce healthy and nutritious dairy products enjoyed by a diverse group of consumers from varying cultures, both local and international. Being part of the Annual Hospitality Expo provided Fresh Dairy with an opportunity to tap into renowned chef’s professional expertise to prepare savor meals for Expo participants using live cooking demonstrations and sampling,” said Vincent Omoth, the Marketing Manager for Fresh Dairy.
Omoth noted that all Fresh Dairy products are available countrywide in shops, duukas, kiosks, supermarkets and Tuk Tuk agents.
