The Kyabazinga of Busoga, William Gabula Nadiope IV, and the Inhebantu of Busoga, Jovia Mutesi, have welcomed their third son, Ezra Jozaya Nadiope.
The royal couple announced the birth of the baby boy, who was born on November 1, 2026, in a statement celebrating the latest addition to the Busoga royal family.
In a special coincidence, the newborn Prince shares his birthday with his father, the Kyabazinga, making the occasion particularly memorable for the royal family and the kingdom.
The royal couple confirmed that both the Inhebantu and the newborn are in excellent health.
“With immense joy and gratitude to Almighty God, His Majesty William Gabula Nadiope IV, the Kyabazinga of Busoga, and Her Royal Highness Jovia Mutesi, the Inhebantu of Busoga, proudly announce the birth of their third son, Prince Nadiope Ezra Josiah, who was born on 1st November 2026,” the statement reads.
The royal family also expressed gratitude to the people of Busoga, relatives, friends and well-wishers for their prayers, love and support during the occasion.
“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him,” the statement quoted Psalm 127:3.
The latest birth comes about a year after the royal family welcomed twin boys, Prince William Ethan Nadiope and Prince Arnold Eli Nadiope, whose birth was announced by the kingdom on October 27, 2025.
The arrival of Prince Ezra Jozaya Nadiope brings another addition to the Kyabazinga and Inhebantu’s growing family.
